Summer School

The deadline to enroll students for summer school has passed.

If you have questions, changes, or would like to request that your child be placed on the waitlist, complete the Parent Inquiry google form below. In the "Inquiry" field, please state your request clearly.

Note: While we will do our best to accommodate all requests, placement is first-come first-serve and not guaranteed.

Si tiene preguntas, solicitudes de cambio o desea solicitar que su hijo sea incluido en una lista de espera para la escuela de verano, complete el formulario de consulta de Google para padres a continuación. FAQs

1. When does Summer School start and end?
Start date: Monday, June 24, 2024

End date: 4-week programs end July 19, 2024 | 6-week programs end August 2, 2024

2. What time does Summer School begin & end?
Gates open at 7:45 am. Class begins at 8:00 am and ends at 12:20 pm.
The Woodcraft Rangers Summer Afternoon Program starts at 12:20 pm and ends at 5:00 pm.

3. What should I do if I did not receive a Summer School invitation for my child?

Please re-check your email inbox & spam folder. You should have received an email from <[email protected]>. Make sure the email address you check is the same primary contact email address you use for Aeries Parent Portal. If you did not find an email invitation for your student, please complete the form below.

4. Why didn't my child receive an invitation to the XXXXXXXX Summer Program?

The following Special Summer Programs are by invitation/eligibility only (based on teacher recommendation, relevant assessment data and/or grade level): Reading & Math Acceleration, Acceleration Program for English Learners, Dual Language, STEAM, ELAC Jaime Escalante Math and ELAC Summer Camp

Students who are not eligible to participate in these special summer programs are eligible to participate in a 6-week Woodcraft Rangers Summer Program (first-come, first-served).

5. A parent I know did not receive a summer school invitation for their child. Could I share the invitation link with him/her?

No, summer school programs are by invitation only. Please do not share the invitation links.

6. What if I missed the enrollment deadline on April 22, 2024?

Due to limited capacity, program acceptance is on a first-come, first-served basis. If you did not enroll by the deadline, complete the form below to put the student name on the waitlist.

Please note: This will not guarantee placement.

7. Are current TK or Preschool students invited to Summer School?

Grade K - 8 students (in 2024-25) are invited (except for ESY). Currently enrolled students, not new students, are invited to summer programs.

8. Can I request the school site for a Summer School Program?
No, due to limited capacity, we cannot accommodate school site requests.

9. I have two or more children who have been invited to different programs at different sites. Could siblings attend one site?

Please fill out the inquiry and we will look at your request. Change in site is not guaranteed.

10. Is there a fee for the Woodcraft Ranger full day program?

There is no fee for Woodcraft Rangers, including field trips.

11. Will my child receive breakfast & lunch?
Yes, if your child arrives on time he/she will be served breakfast at the designated breakfast area. Yes, lunch will be served to all attending students.

12. My child has a special need. Will Summer School provide similar support as during the school year?
This is decided on a case by case basis. Please fill out this form so we can be notified.

13. What if we have vacation plans and must skip some days/weeks of the program? Who do I need to talk to?
Students cannot miss more than one week. If your child must, please notify us at <[email protected]> before the first day of school. // If your child will miss a few days only (throughout the program), please talk to the teacher on the first day of class.

14. When will I receive confirmation for my child to attend Summer School?
You will receive a confirmation via email by mid-May.
